It's gold. It's sparkly. It's comfortable. And it doesn't slam down. It's helped our old bathroom with a large yellow toilet, tub, and sink to look a little more glam. Good buy.It was a bit of a pain to install but I'm told it wasn't too bad in the grand scheme of things. It adjusts to fit a number of throne sizes and configurations.Other reviewers mentioned it could be difficult to install. While it wasn't as easy as some other seats I've installed, you just have to follow the directions carefully. The adjustable dimensions aspect is a little vague. Through trial and error, you guess as best you can.However, the seat does seem a little sturdier than some, but time will tell. I would consider this brand again as it has lots of designs to choose from.Everyone who sees it is jealous about this toilet seat. Nice selection.We really loved this seat for the first 10-12 months until it started falling apart. At month 10 the hinges started corroding. At about month 12 the corrosion started to cause the seat to shift every time the lid was lifted or dropped... so now, most of the time, it doesn't completely cover the ceramic of the toilet's rim, meaning that, yes, when you sit down, part of your thigh will touch the cold ceramic... ugh. Shortly after that the slow drop function stopped working and as a result, when the entire apparatus is lifted for male use, it does not stay up and starts falling down, during the peeing process...It's been broken like this for a few months and the only reason I was compelled to write a crappy review is because I found myself shopping for its replacement here and realized I should warn folks about it... Uff... I just never thought toilet seats were something that I would need to re-buy every 1-2 years. But here we are. I really hate that I need to spend valuable time shopping for its replacement when I already put time and money into purchasing something I though was good way back when I purchased this in the first place.I had to now give a lower rating after one of the lid's hinges stopped working properly after less than a year of use. The hinge has become very hard to move, which makes it hard to close the lid and keeps unscrewing the hinges from the toilet bowl due to the pressure required to close the lid. I think this could be an easy fix with a simple hinge replacement, unfortunately neither the seller nor the seat's manufacturer replied to emails inquiring about purchasing replacement hinges from them. The hinges are shaped differently from commonly available metal hinges, unfortunately, so I can't just buy them at a hardware store or online. Too bad, this seat is so beautiful otherwise.Very beautiful, high quality print and great quality of the materials as well. It wasn't too hard to assemble following the instructions and works great so far.A good solid toilet seat, was easy to fit (despite some of the feedback saying it was hard, took about 5 minutes). Has a quality-looking heavy duty hinge.The only minor quibble I have is that it not 'molded wood' as per the item description. For some reason I was expecting a wooden seat like the old-fashioned ones we used to see. Instead it is some kind of resin/plastic with a picture printed on it to make it look a bit like a wooden seat. No big deal I guess but thought I'd mention it in case anyone else was after a genuine wooden seat.I bought this toilet seat in August 2021 but only installed it in October.
