If you are looking for precision machined hinges-well,expect to pay a lot more.These hinges are accurate enough to make a jig and mortise them in kitchen cabinet doors(which is what I used them for)and they have a bright polished finish.These came in a plastic box and each hinge had its own soft pouch.I was kind of impressed-like this company actually cares-when it seems the standard now would be throw them all in a bag and ship it.The only thing I found was the screws that came with the kit do not end up flush with the surface of the hinge leaf due to the gauge of the leaf itself-not much thickness to machine a proper countersink.This may be a concern for some people,but not me.This is a great deal for hinges and I don't think anyone is coming to my house to see if the screws are flush on my kitchen cabinet hinges.I bought these for light weight outside screen half doors. I haven’t installed them yet, but was pleased with how quickly they arrived! They are nicely polished and appear to be a good heavy material! These should hold up well! Better than I expected!Very good construction grade hinges. For $1 per hinge, they compete with Stanley/National on price but are far superior. High quality chrome plating. Tight barrels. Precision counter sunk holes. Now the negative. Half of a quality hinge is the screws. These are soft, stainless 1 pt Phillips heads. A construction grade cabinet hinge is best with a 2 pt head and harder material. I will buy again but will substitute the screws.I was a bit hesitant to order these hinges, since there were no reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. The hinges are very sturdy and I like the fact that they have 3 screw holes per side instead of 2. Shipping was very fast and the hinges were individually wrapped and well packaged. You cannot beat this price for stainless steel. A big plus is they came with mounting screws. I would definitely buy these again.These hinges were used on products outdoors. We have ordered hundreds of this product.
